Florist of Omaha is led by Dr. Vernetta Kosalka, a seasoned event professional with more than two decades of experience in hospitality, event production, and floral design. Her work is informed by a deep understanding of how florals function within complex event environments, from guest flow and timelines to aesthetics, logistics, and overall experience.
With a background in hospitality leadership and event planning, Vernetta brings both creative vision and operational precision to every project. She is known for her calm, collaborative approach, thoughtful design sensibility, and ability to translate a client’s vision into florals that feel intentional, elevated, and seamlessly executed.
In addition to her work in floral design, Vernetta is an educator and industry leader, regularly sharing insight and best practices with emerging professionals. Florist of Omaha accepts a limited number of weddings and large-scale events each season, ensuring every client receives focused attention and a refined design experience from inquiry to installation.
